The BMW Group has published a video which demonstrated how to change people’s lives in the future. More specifically, the automaker introduced the draft technologies that may become available to mankind by 2117. Previously these videos were released by Samsung and Microsoft.
Video BMW reveals the main directions in which to develop transport in the next hundred years. According to the automaker, the vehicle should be “active partners” of the people and their advisers in everyday situations.
Key concepts: Autonomous driving, individuality, innovative security features, ample networking opportunities and, of course, electric.
On a company video, you can see four concept vehicles – the BMW Vision Next 100, Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100, Next 100 Vision MINI and BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100. They have a lot in common and at the same time, designed to meet different requests: from self-balancing motorcycle, where you can safely ride without a helmet, to extremely sophisticated unmanned “coach” with artificial intelligence, which generally is not the place for the driver.
In the BMW Group, saying the future, which foreshadowed the concepts of Vision Next 100, has already arrived. So the new video, filmed in Los Angeles and Bangkok and is called “a New era has begun.”
The real embodiment of the ideas Vision Next 100 – that is “smart” avtopilotiruemy electric, able to transmit and receive large amounts of information at high speed 5G mobile communications – will be a BMW only to 2021. Now the project is known under the code name BMW i Next.
