At the moment Google is preparing for the announcement of the Android operating system 8.0, which will be officially presented a month earlier iOS 11. The publication VentureBeat described three functions that appear in the new mobile platform by the search giant.
One of the innovations of the so-called “O Android” will be called Copy Less. It will predict when a user attempts to send the address of the found object in another application. As soon as it is typed to indicate that a piece of text, Copy Less will show the appropriate prompt, eliminating the need to copy data to the clipboard. It is still unknown whether this will be a virtual keyboard or the Gboard built-in Android 8.0.
Another new feature is the automatic insertion of links with the appropriate context of application. The function works similar with iOS. For example, encountered in electronic correspondence phone number will be linked to the dialer, the address will automatically open the Google Maps app, but the date calendar.
The third function involves recognition of gestures on-screen, the opening in any situation the appropriate application. For example, to open the calendar, it will be enough to portray your finger on the screen the letter C.
