Apple removes iTunes U for Mac OS and Windows with the 12.7 release of iTunes and will transfer all data from the program to Podcasts. It is reported 9to5Mac.
Now download content from a Mac or PC is impossible, listen to free materials to get it only through Podcasts. Users will be able to access the quizzes and e-books through the iTunes U app for iOS and Apple TV.
Apple claims that agencies that use the program do not need to take any action, because the transition will happen automatically, but it is recommended to clear the current collection before you begin.
The iTunes U app can be downloaded for free in the App Store.
