Apple will introduce a replacement MacBook Air

It seems that Apple is planning to introduce the successor to the MacBook Air with 13-inch display this year.

Taiwanese publication DigiTimes claims that GIS (General Interface Solution), will receive more orders on the LCD panel. GIS is one of the main suppliers of displays for the entire range of Apple.

It is believed that the novelty will replace the 13-inch MacBook Air, which is very popular due to its cost and there is already quite a long time. Apple has tried in some measure to replace it with a 12-inch MacBook, Air but is still in great demand.

The device may cost less than $ 1,000 – that’s exactly what Apple needs now. It seems that the company was planning an upgrade for quite a while. MacBook Air has not changed significantly in 2015. Last year the manufacturer has increased the processor speed of the laptop, although this cannot be considered a serious upgrade.

Some reports say that Apple is considering a specially designed processors based on ARM for Mac to reduce dependence on Intel. Perhaps they will be used in the new 13-inch MacBook. Now about the new know quite a bit, but all pointed to the same price as its predecessor.
