Apple Watch saved Americans who got in a car accident

Apple Watch can come to the rescue in situations of danger to life. One of such cases the reader told forum Redditor under the name M4ttiG.

Blogger was returning home by car late at night and swerved into a ditch to avoid hitting a Fox. Woke up M4ttiG in an upturned car strapped in, he was hanging on the safety belt.

Following that the American realized in this moment he is in an upside-down car. After he managed to unfasten the seatbelt and get out of the cabin through the window, he tried to call for help. But to no avail, there was nobody around. As it was on a country road, a car he could wait until morning.

M4ttiG tried to find my iPhone, but in the darkness it was not possible. On the strikethrough icon on the screen of the Apple Watch, he realized that the gadget is far out of range of Bluetooth. He began to walk around, press on the clock button the Ping test, which causes the beep on your paired iPhone. The search lasted for about 10 minutes. At one point he heard a sound: he managed to find a phone that fell in the bushes. The gadget was in one piece and the party involved in the accident was able to call for help.

M4ttiG walked away with a few broken ribs and a knee injury. But it could be worse, he says, if help had not come in time.
