Apple released macOS Sierra 10.12.2 beta 6 for developers and participants of the program testing

Apple has extended the sixth test build macOS 10.12.2 Sierra for Mac computers. The update is available for download officially registered developers and participants of the open testing program, the release of the final version of the OS is expected next week.

The update came four days after the release of macOS Sierra 10.12.2 beta 5 and just over a month after the appearance of macOS Sierra 10.12.1. This release fixes previously discovered errors and improve the overall performance of Mac. The developers have added to OS new Emoji characters from Unicode 9.0 and new Wallpapers for your desktop.

Apple is also talking about improved security, improvements in performance and bug fixes. The Photos app adds support for the new photos taken in portrait mode on the iPhone 7 Plus. The latter uses a dual-camera smartphone to create the effect in the style of SLR cameras.

The sixth beta version of macOS Sierra 10.12.2 available for download through the dev Center and update mechanism in the Mac App Store, if on Mac use one of the previous preview builds.
