Research firm IDC has published a report on the smartphone market in the second quarter of 2015. According to analysts, the year of delivery devices Wipro with 302,1 to 337,2 million, i.e. by 11.6%. The leader of the smartphone market remains Samsung, but for the year its share has decreased, while Apple has increased its market share.
The past quarter was the second largest supply in the entire history of observations. With cell phones, including smartphones, were shipped 464,6 million, which is 0.4% less than in the second quarter of 2014, when the volume of the market in quantitative expression made 466,3 million.
The share of Samsung for the year decreased from 24.8% to 21.7%, as reduced deliveries from 74,9 to 73.2 million units. Apple, the runner-up, Vice versa for the year reduced the gap: a year ago, the California giant has shipped 35.2 million smartphones in the last quarter — 47.5 million, with a resulting increase in the share from 11.7% to 14.1%.
In third place is Huawei, who managed during the year to increase supplies to 29.9 20.2 million units, bringing its share increased from 6.7% to 8.9%. Fourth place belongs to the company Xiaomi. This Chinese manufacturer for the year also increased deliveries — from 13.8 to 17.9 million units, so its share has increased from 4.6% to 5.3%.
Rounded out the top five with a share of 4.8% of those shipped during the quarter 16.2 million smartphones by Lenovo. A year ago, it owned 5.2% of the market, then it was enough to ship to 15.8 million units.
