Apple 30 minutes sold out of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Samsung at home

Samsung time to sound the alarm. Last Monday, three of the largest operator in South Korea – SK Telecom Co., KT Corp. and LG Uplus Inc., has opened pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and the first batch of devices was sold out literally in minutes. This writes the portal of the South Korean Yonhapnews.

Operators in South Korea have started accepting pre-orders for new iPhone the day before the official release date. According to the country’s largest cellular provider KT Corp, in the first minute users have left 10 000 pre-orders for the new iPhone. And then another 50 000 orders within the next 10 minutes. Operator SK Telecom has implemented batch of 50,000 copies in half an hour, LG UPlus sold out of reserved device for 5 minutes.

“The interest of buyers has been incredible. According to our estimates, the sale of the first 50,000 copies took just 30 minutes. Huge demand model in the color “rose gold”,” – said in an official statement, KT Corp.

Despite aggressive advertising, Samsung failed to pull attention away from products of its main competitor, even at home. And all sorts of history with the problems of the iPhone 6s and are unable to scare off potential buyers.

Experts believe the situation is very worrying for Samsung. The position of the South Korean manufacturer has always been very strong in South Korea: the share of Samsung in the smartphone market in the country is 21.7%. Apple with a share of 14.1% ranks second.
