Android installed 8.0 Oreo 0.3% devices

In the first months after the release of the new version of Android traditionally can only upgrade selected device. Android 8.0 Oreo was no exception.

Google released Android 8.0 Oreo in August of this year. In September, the statistical charts Android 8.0 was not. In October, the new operating system was installed on just 0.1% of devices. Now the figure is 0.3%.

To Android 8.0 Oreo can only upgrade flagship devices some companies. But the list supports a new version of firmware smartphones added regularly.

The graph shows that the most popular version of Android is a Marshmallow that is set by 30.9%. Gradually increasing the percentage of updates to Android Nougat. Now it works 20.6% of devices. Older versions of the operating system is still popular: Android Lolipop uploaded by 27.2% of smartphones and tablets as KitKat – 13.8%. The share of Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, and Oreo accounts for only 7.2% of plants.

For comparison, iOS 11 was released on September 12. A month after the release of the new operating system was installed on more than half supported the iPhone and iPad.
