Analysts: iPad sales will continue to fall, a 12.9-inch iPad Pro will not save the situation

The tablet market is stagnant: the three-year period of explosive growth are over. During this time everyone who wanted a device that already bought it and upgrade it in no hurry, since innovations are not radical improvements. IPad sales fall more than a year; in September, Apple is preparing two new models, the iPad mini 4, iPad Air 3 and iPad Pro. However, it is unlikely that the new items will remedy the situation. During this time everyone who wanted a tablet, bought it as new in no hurry to buy, because they have no radical improvements.

Windows tablets in the spring has experienced a slight recovery in sales, but this is not an indicator, given that they had very few users; moreover it is basically a tablet consisting of ultrabooks.

Released almost four years ago, the third-generation iPad is quite good, and enhancements the following models — performance, low weight, scanner, Touch ID is not enough to justify spending $500-1000, analysts say.

As for tablets with large screens on the market which aspires to reach the Apple, it is more convenient to use them at the table, that is in fact the device does not provide the key differences from the laptop.

The company noted that the iPad Pro will allow Apple to increase sales among corporate users: tablets company actively acquiring companies, becoming a standard corporate tool and thus ensuring a future. However, this does not significantly affect the total volumes of supplies of these devices.
