On July 21, two weeks after the emergence of a third beta of iOS 9, Apple distributed a fourth cumulative update for the new OS. As testing the company makes the operating system from errors, changes the interface and adds new features. In this article MacDigger collected all detected changes in iOS 9 beta 4.
What’s new in iOS 9 beta 4 for iPhone and iPad:
- The build number of the new firmware 13A4305g.
- The update is available for iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s/5c/5/4S, iPod touch 5G, iPad 2/3/4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 1/2/3.
- Download iOS 9 beta 4 can through the built-in update and on the website for developers.
- The size of the OTA-update iOS 9 beta 4 is 300 to 350 MB (compared to 400 MB in a previous build).
- To use the fourth beta of iOS 9 need iTunes 12 or later. Note: backup iOS 8 cannot be restored on devices with iOS 9.
- With iOS 9 beta 4 was released new firmware for the Apple Watch – watchOS 2.0 beta 4 and OS X El Capitan beta 4.
- For developers is available 7 Xcode beta 4, build number 7A165t.
- Icon item notifications in the settings of the operating system is now red, not gray.
